What prior experience is required?
While prior robotics experience is helpful, it’s not required. We welcome students with basic programming knowledge (any language) and strong interest in STEM. The program is designed to accommodate varying skill levels.
Students stay in MIT undergraduate dormitories, with 24/7 supervision. Rooms are typically shared between 2-3 students of the same gender, with common lounge areas and dining facilities.
Yes! We welcome international applicants. You’ll need a B-2 tourist visa for this program. We provide visa support letters after acceptance. English proficiency should be at least intermediate level (no official test required).
Safety is our top priority. The program has 24/7 staff supervision, secure campus housing, and strict lab safety protocols. All students complete safety training before handling equipment.
