What are the eligibility requirements?
To participate in the Work & Travel USA program, you must:
- Be currently enrolled as a full-time university student
- Have intermediate English language skills
- Be between 18-28 years old
- Have proof of medical insurance
- Have sufficient funds for initial expenses
How long does the program last?
The typical program duration is 3-4 months of work plus a 30-day grace period for travel. Summer participants usually work from May to September, while winter participants work from December to April.
What kind of jobs are available?

How much money can I earn?

Can I extend my stay in the USA?
The J-1 visa allows for a 30-day grace period after your work contract ends for travel within the US. Extensions beyond this period are not permitted under this program.
